North East Region

The region offers a few prestigious golf courses in the country such as Royal Aberdeen and Cruden Bay. Most of them are located around Aberdeen known as the “Granite City” because most of the buildings have been built with grey granite, or as the Oil Capital of Europe” with the discovery of North Sea oil in the 1970s.
