Although with its tiny space, Scotland has an incredible number of golf courses, 579 to be exact! The oldest being the Old Course in St Andrews circa 1410 and the youngest being Castle Stuart opened on the 13th of July 2009. Scotland has also the biggest number of links courses in the world, 175!
